GOLDMINE GROUPS
Grief Series
A small, in-person group for people living with loss.
This is not about fixing grief.
It is about having a place to be with it.
Loss can make things feel unfamiliar. Quiet. Disorienting. Or simply heavy in a way that is hard to name.
This group offers a steady space to come as you are - to speak, to listen, or just to sit in the presence of others who understand something about what it is to carry loss.
There is no right way to do this.
Each week begins with a simple prompt or place to enter. There is no fixed agenda—the group unfolds from there.
Who this is for
This group is for adults grieving the loss of a loved one, or navigating the slow, ongoing, or anticipated loss of someone or something deeply meaningful.
Some losses are recent. Some are not. Both can belong here.
You do not need to explain your grief perfectly to join.
What the group offers
A steady container over time, rather than a one-time event
Thoughtful prompts and reflections to help people “enter” the room
Space for both speaking - and simply being present to listen
A facilitated environment that can hold emotional complexity without rushing it
This is not therapy, but it is a thoughtful, well-held space.
About the facilitator
Katie Guillory is a seasoned facilitative with deep experience leading reflective groups and creating spaces where people can speak honestly, listen closely, and feel less alone.
